This Ai Sakai website and concept are a project of Group Genie, a nonprofit creativity team and action network. Group Genie is based in Pittsburgh, PA in the United States.

Tim Cimino, founder of Group Genie, invented the concept. It came out of his experience as the director of World Peace One. Many people had instant misgivings about the organization, and Tim gradually realized that the ‘world peace’ part of the name was helping to create a dysfunctional attitude toward the organization and his work.
